Setup Foscam FI8910W Wireless IP Camera

  1. Open Device Management Page

    Use an ethernet cable connect the camera to you router, open web browser, load the camera page, e.g. http://192.168.1.11. Log in with default user (you can find the user name, usually admin, and password on the camera). Then click "Device Management" to configure the camera's setting.

  2. Configure Wireless Network

    Click "Wireless LAN Settings" on the left column, enable "Using Wireless Lan", then enter the wireless network ID, and security setting for the wireless network, e.g., the WPA personal Key. Click Submit button to save changes.

  3. Enable Motion Detection

    Enable "Motion Detect Armed", adjust "Motion Detect Sensibility". Enable "Upload Image on Alarm". Click Submit button to save changes.

  4. Configure FTP server name, user and password

    Click "FTP Service Settings" on the left column, enter the FTP server name, user and password that you retrieved from NWatch.me website.
    If you want to enable inactive alert for this camera, enable option "Upload Image Now", and set a proper value to "Upload Interval (Seconds)". Check "Enable Set Filename", and enter some prefix for the files uploaded periodically. This prefix is needed in NWatch.me, so the web service can differentiate the scheduled images and motion detected images. Scheduled image can be used to make sure the camera is active.
    Click Submit button to save changes.
